Achieving Domestic Bliss: Step One

When your alarm goes off at 7 a.m. in the morning, don't take responsibility for it. Just keep your head firmly planted in your pillow until it begins to annoy your partner enough that he/she moves to turn it off. Bonus points if you're the only person getting up early that morning.

Occasionally, your partner might nudge you and groggily tell you to get the alarm. This is a test. Your partner really wants to take care of you and just needs to see if you're okay with being taken care of. So don't move a muscle. If the alarm continues to sound, it is simply a continuation of the test.
